Stupid school papers

Ok this was written in my school news paper. This is wrong it should of never been printed in our paper. My University is a small school if things like this can happen in a small school like mine then it can happen in yours. This will be updated with things that are happening at my school to control and rectify what happened. Please voice your opinion about this topic as well.

Life of blatant, proud sin damages society
By Brian Erskine

“For God did not send His Son into the world, but that the world through Him might be saved,” John 3:17.

This is one of the lesser known pillars of the Bible. A lot of the time, we approach religion from the wrong perspective, which in this case is predestination. Quite the opposite is true. God sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to give man a choice. God does no condemn man; we do that on our own.

Given the inherent desire of man to sin, he does. Even more destructive, though, is the act of sin as a lifestyle.

The Lord said to Moses in Leviticus 18:22, “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable, the Lord said, “Everyone who does any of these detestable things… such persons must be cut off from their people,” (Leviticus 18:29).

“If a man lies with a man as one lives with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads,” (Leviticus 20:13). The Lord makes His Law clear. In blatant defiance, a subculture of the world has decided to live in lust and sin and for that indiscretion, eternal consequences await.

Into the New Testament, Romans 1:27 reads. “In the same way the men also abandoned way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.”

The common arguments from homosexuals don’t hold any more water than a sifter. If God is about love, why would he punish me? He does not punish anyone, they punish themselves. It is funny how people think love is easy. How can I help who I am? Well, you’re human and inherently prone to sin, you just gave into it. If homosexuality is a choice, why would I choose such a hard life? Everyone else on Earth is still asking the same question. How one could live comfortably with the knowledge that they chose Hell as their destiny is beyond me. Isn’t premarital sex just as bad? Sure it is, and those people made just as bad a decision as you. To their credit, the long-term prognosis does not include a proud, sinful lifestyle.

In 1 Corinthians 6:9, It is said, “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders … will inherit the kingdom of God.” Yes, these groups of people are wicked because sin, in the eyes of the Father, is wicked. Satan lives in sin, and sadly, is personified by these people.

God is interested in Agape love. This unconditional love for his children, despite the choices they make, is something we can understand. Parents who love their children punish them. They still love them, but they love them right from wrong and hold them accountable. Without accountability, hedonism rules the day.

While sin permeates out society, God’s children bear the burden of turning back the tide. While Leftist social engineering tells our young people to accept everything as equal and not judge, we become the judged. Holding hard and fast in the face of Satan himself is not shameful. For some, messages like this are branded radical, theologically intolerant or hateful, but, in the end, God’s love is the motivator.

Do not be discouraged. Spread the word of God and bringing people into eternal life. Matthew 7:13 teaches, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and marrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Find it.

    Editorials section or no?

  3. 3 Suzu

Yes it was int the Editorial section but he offeneded over 3/4th of our campus we have the president of the Mormans on our campus backing us up. We have had people lose their jobs over what they thought about this article. Also a few friends and myself were almost arrested beacuse of the guy who wrote the article. And lastly if he belives in everthing in the part of the bible that he took the quotes from than he is going to “hell” as well. He has a earring, he shaves, he has approached his girlfriend/fiancée while she was menstruating, all things that that part of the bible says you will go to “hell’ for.

An engineering professor is treating her husband, a loan officer, to dinner for finally giving in to her pleas to shave off the scraggly beard he grew on vacation. His favorite restaurant is a casual place where they both feel comfortable in slacks and cotton/polyester-blend golf shirts. But, as always, she wears the gold and pearl pendant he gave her the day her divorce decree was final. They’re laughing over their menus because they know he always ends up diving into a giant plate of ribs but she won’t be talked into anything more fattening than shrimp.
Quiz: How many biblical prohibitions are they violating?
Well, wives are supposed to be ’submissive’ to their husbands (I Peter 3:1). And all women are forbidden to teach men (I Timothy 2:12), wear gold or pearls (I Timothy 2:9) or dress in clothing that ‘pertains to a man’ (Deuteronomy 22:5). Shellfish and pork are definitely out (Leviticus 11:7, 10) as are usury (Deuteronomy 23:19), shaving (Leviticus 19:27) and clothes of more than one fabric (Leviticus 19:19). And since the Bible rarely recognizes divorce, they’re committing adultery, which carries the rather harsh penalty of death by stoning (Deuteronomy 22:22).
So why are they having such a good time? Probably because they wouldn’t think of worrying about rules that seem absurd, anachronistic or - at best - unrealistic. Yet this same modern-day couple could easily be among the millions of Americans who never hesitate to lean on the Bible to justify their own anti-gay attitudes.

The thing is, you can use the Bible as justification lots and lots of things… as long as you pick your quotes carefully.

I’m very happy to be an atheist.

It’s an editorial. Bible thumpers are idiotic, but he’s allowed to do that sort of thing.

In the begining was the word, and it was good.
    Then man said something stupid.

I’m a christian, but gah, some people are idiots.

I personally believe that your salvation is your own choice, and you cant/shouldn’t force it upon anyone. You have to find out what’s right for you, if you even want to. I believe we were created with the ability to choose.
Meh, I’m not even going to try to preach what I’ve been force fed all these years, because I’m not even sure I believe it.

    But that’s my choice.
People just need to relax, especially christians. If you think homosexuality is immoral and you can “convert” them to hetero, go crawl back into your cave. You can’t make people change.
Just accept them, and love them for who they are… They’re people, not animals.
I’m just sick of christians throwing stones when they’re far from perfect themselves. Lets not judge people, you can be straight and have gay pride. And if 2 guys wanna get married, its not me, so let them.

People just need to lighten up.
